Silvia K. Tacheva Grigorova has harnessed her artistic ambitions from a young age, having dabbled in a variety of media ranging from graphite and charcoal to acrylics. She has participated in several exhibitions over the years, one of which notably resulted in a summer scholarship to the Parsons School of Design at the age of 12.
Prior to enrolling in college, Silvia was torn between her passions for art/design and science - two seemingly different fields, but which she would later discover shared much in common. Biologist by profession, Silvia maintains her love and involvement in the arts, translating her interest into drawings, paintings, as well as other works of art.
In 2013, she was invited to illustrate the book cover for Veronika Carnaby's novel, The Speakeasy. Most recently, Silvia has ventured into the world of graphic design, where the scientist and the artist in her unite to create solutions.
